Kazi Play is a subsidiary of Kazi Studios focused on game development. Kazi Studios design the first board game of Nepal, Samrajya. The game is inspired by Prithivi Narayan Shah's conquest of the Kathmandu Valley through Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Patan and finally Bhaktapur. The game is filled with twists and turns leading players through a treacherous path that gets harder as you near your journey's end.  The gameplay uses minimal strategy and is recommended for children 6 and above.

Samrajya board game was created to engage people about Nepali traditions, history and culture. Being the first board game of Nepal, our focus was on human face-to-face interactions and simplifying the gameplay.  We wanted to create an engaging game to connect players of different generations to find commonality and start a conversation.
