Annual Report Design
Introduction
The Nepal Peace Monitor Annual Report is based on data collected by the Nepal Peace Monitoring Project, an initiative by COCAP|Nepalmonitor.org. It provides an overview of incidents documented throughout 2017 and analyses major trends with the objective to improve our understanding of and response to violence and conflict in Nepal. The PMP also provides an instrument to measure progress against Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Targets 16.1 (reduction of all forms of violence and related death rates) and 5.2 (elimination of violence against women) in Nepal.
Solution
The layout design proposed for Nepal Monitor Annual Report minimized the number of pages and maximized the visual hierarchy of data displayed. The report contained illustrations to vaguely connect the visual to the nature of the incident reported.
